Matt Bowen is a co-owner of Sixmania and helps lead the production and technical side of its broadcasts. A professional videographer and live-production director, Matt has spent much of his career behind a camera, in a control room, or calling a live show and Sixmania gives him a chance to combine that experience with something much closer to home.

Matt grew up in Groom, Texas, where small-town life and Friday night football were simply part of growing up. That background is a big part of what Sixmania means to him. He loves getting to tell the stories of six-man schools and communities across Texas and giving the players on the field a broadcast they can look back on years from now.

Matt lives in Amarillo with his wife, Ashlyn, their daughter, Laney, and their two Golden Retrievers, Hazel and Milo. Away from Sixmania, he’s usually spending time with family, tinkering with some kind of technology, working on a video project, or finding another excuse to talk about Texas.
