Tony Rocha grew up in Panhandle and graduated in 1985. He went to AC where he majored in Radio and Television production and got his associates degree. His first broadcast experience was with the College Radio station and also worked for the NBC affiliate and CBS affiliate in Amarillo. In 1990, he was accepted into the DPS academy and on August 31 st , 1990 he graduated from the academy. His first duty station was Perryton, and it was there where he got back on the air with KEYE. In 1997 he was stationed in Childress, and in 2000 he transferred to Groom where he has lived ever since. In 2014 the Groom ISD approached him about broadcasting football games, and with the help of his partner Tim Case, the TNT package was born. In 2019 he retired from DPS and has worked for the Carson County Sheriff’s office and is currently working the 100 th Judicial District Attorney’s Office as an investigator. Tony still gets on the air on 99.3 KEFH, occasionally rocking the Texas Panhandle. Tony and his wife have been married 33 years, and have 4 kids, 2 daughters in laws, 1 son in law, and 1 granddaughter. In 2022, Tony along with Tim Case, Garet Rocha, and Matthew Bowen purchased Sixmania, where Tony serves as the Director of Marketing and Sales.
